Life is a bridge. Cross over it, but build no house on it.
– Indian Proverb
The Indian Proverb emphasizes the transient nature of life, that a sense of permanent mental attachment to the bridge (to a certain thing) can bring disappointment in life. If a man is a traveler, the bridge is not a proper place to live at. Instead, travelers must move ahead and no stagnate. If a man wants to discover new places, cross the end of the bridge and it will lead to somewhere else.
In other words, do not let your self be attached to anything in this world especially with material things. The life in this world is only temporary, which will not last forever. A man who is rich must not be obsesses with money, reputation, title and become a slave of it.
Let your necessity or sense of adventure take you there.
